Om Audio Launches with Inearpeace Headphones

The new company was founded by former Dolby and Gracenote employees.

There are headphones that you throw into your gym bag and ones you handle with white gloves. Om Audio is putting its company name into the latter category with the newly announced Inearpeace headphones.

“Inearpeace” — get it? You’re definitely going to want to. Om Audio may be a brand-new company, but it’s a brand-new company founded by former Dolby and Gracenote employees. That expertise is going into this new in-ear monitor, which features Om Audio’s own two-way driver technology and a 10mm coiled bass driver.

Other features include a pressure-relief system for long-term listening and a tangle-free cable.

“Music is one of the most personal forms of expression within our society,” said Devon Bergman, Om Audio’s co-founder and VP of marketing. “It provides a means by which we can share emotions and, unlike just about any other medium, has the ability to exert powerful responses that resonate from within the soul. While there is no shortage of audio products that will play music, through our collective experience, we at Om Audio realized that the world has been void of a personal audio collection that allows people to find themselves in the music and thus, the genesis of Om Audio.”

Inearpeace is currently an exclusive at OneCall.com. Available in black or white, Inearpeace has an MSRP of $149.99.
