It’s been a while since we’ve talked about Klipsch headphones. Now, the company is giving us something to talk about. Klipsch just debuted two pairs of flagship headphones. The X11i and X4i are now shipping as part of the company’s X Series.
The X11i is crafted from milled aluminum, with a tangle-resistant cable. That same cable has a mic and a three-button remote, which are designed to work with iOS devices. According to Klipsch, this featherweight model is the company’s smallest and lightest headphone option to date. Available in a black finish, the Klipsch X11i is shipping now with an MSRP of $349.99.
The other new model is the X4i. Constructed from diecast metal, the X4i also has the tangle-resistant table with the mic and the three-button remote. Available in a black finish with copper and brushed metal accents, the X4i has an MSRP of $149.99.
Both of the new headphone products are joining the Klipsch X7i, a previously released model that’s getting new museum-style pedestal packaging. It’s a sleek pair of headphones, available with black or white finishes with laser-etched logos. The X7i has an MSRP of $199.99.
The entire Klipsch X Series ships with patented oval eartips for hours of comfortable wear. Those same eartips boast noise isolation features and awesome bass.
“This headphone series exemplifies the sophisticated, modern design, incomparable craftsmanship and proprietary technologies today’s passionate listeners are seeking,” said Chris Aiello, Klipsch’s product manager for headphones. “With this introduction, a new pinnacle in style, comfort and sound quality has been reached, and we’re delivering the headphones enthusiasts have been anticipating.”
Each X Series model will work with any device with a standard 3.5mm headphone jack. However, the mic and three-button remote are specifically designed for use with iOS products. The X7i and X11i come packing five different sized eartips, a protective carrying case, a clip, and a two-year warranty. The X4i drops the number of eartips down to four. All X Series models are shipping now.
