Using the same movie on both systems is not going to show you any differences between the formats. Almost every movie made for both Blu-ray and HD-DVD use the exact same video encoding. As someone who is in the custom install biz, I’ve always recommended RPTVs to clients if they have the room for them. The quality can be comparible for a much lower price.
