Using the same movie on both systems is not going to show you any differences between the formats.  Almost every movie made for both Blu-ray and HD-DVD use the exact same video encoding.  Sometimes the audio is a different format, but lossless audio should sound exactly the same regardless of how it was stored (hence the lossless part) and Dolby…

As someone who is in the custom install biz, I’ve always recommended RPTVs to clients if they have the room for them.  The quality can be comparible for a much lower price.
