More anti-HD-DVD rhetoric from Electronic House.
The studio split is 70:30 with Sony continuing to lose money. The 70:30 doesnt start until May of course. IN anycase, its either dual format players or internet Hi Def streaming. Blu Ray hasnt actually won anything yet, except a whole lotta hype.

More Anti-HD-DVD rhetoric by Electronic House. Can you say advertising dollars? Release schedules for movies show many more Blu Ray releases planned MONTHS ago than HD-DVD until about March. Also, videoscan Nielsen doesnt include Walmart sales or many online sales and has almost no validity. The Studio Split is 70:30. Period. Paramount and Universal are not budging for now. The…

i still haven’t seen apples-to-apples comparison of disc sales. why won’t someone like amazon publish figures of recent released that are on both hd-dvd and blu-ray. without that i think declaring a loser is premature especially since hd-dvds are coming bundled with 5 or more free titles.

I agree 100%. If this trend continues yes BUT, obviously it has not continued or else the article written on the 23rd would not have sales numbers that ended on the 12th.

This article doesn’t take into account that Toshiba slashed the prices on their players by 50% starting on 1/14.Many retailers will have specials on HD DVD media starting on 1/27.
As was mentioned earlier if this trend continues in the weeks ahead then HD DVD should be concerned.

This might be temporary phenomenon. The window of observation is microscopic and may not give the accurate picture. If this trend persists for several weeks continuously then the title of the article makes sense.
