Great article Rachel - it’s only 5 days until Christmas and I’m doing all of my shopping online. Also just saw this infographic on Twitter about how online orders get to us by the holidays - http://bit.ly/WM - thought it was pretty interesting but didn’t realize there were so many steps involved.

@Zappykins, On a 32-inch TV you’d need to be sitting very close (uncomfortably close) to really see the difference between 1080p and 720p on otherwise equivalent TVs. There may be other factors making your TV look better, not just the resolution. I’m more interested in seeing 4K for what it does for 3D.

What are the TV capabilities??  Do you only get internet TV content, or can you get live channels??  And what about outside the home??  Can you hook it up to your phone or tablet to take with you, or are you still home-bound?? Looks like a great product, but I hear a bunch of numbers and specs, not real uses. …

I have a 1080P 32” TV and my neighbor has a 720P 32” TV and is always commenting on how much sharper mine looks.  So yes, I think you could ceratinly see a difference at 4K 64” Tv.  And since a DVD looks better upscaled to 1080P, wouldn’t you think then a blu-ray might look really nice upscaled and extra…

@BryanS, the Kindle Fire is actually $100 more, not $10. No one is claiming the Kryos is an iPad, but it is one fifth the price.

A Coby tablet? really? Give the gift of obsolescence! For $10 more, you can get a Kindle fire… This almost seems like a gift gallery that you would get going through the holiday isle at the local drug store.

@Terp, Since the products aren’t officially announced yet, I can’t really answer that with a firm yes or no, but I’d be surprised if that feature wasn’t included.
