I’m surprised the Internet Movie Database hasn’t tried this. I’ve developed a habit of keeping the IMDB open on my laptop while I watch a DVD—but maybe I’m just weird.

If all that you want is cheap HD video, then by all means, buy Toshiba or Microsoft, but I also want new games that are designed for HD. Microsoft’s add-on is for watching movies only at this point. How about giving us a list of the manufacturers that have models capable of 2:35:1 format and a similar list of screen manufacturers. Many of us can’t afford a Runco projector, but I heard that even Panasonic makes a capable model.

Ok, the large picture does show the full cutain affect and helps clean up the area, but still leaves the reflective surface under the TV, and also high-lights other design issues. The large curtain area makes the 50’ plasma look very small, with such a large area the money on the plamsa would have been better spent on a projector…

Ugh! No attempt to hide the duplex plugs and a curtain (of sorts) semi-hiding the wire to the L and R speakers. Strange short curtain above the screen? Prpose? Bad gossy top on surface under the screen which would reflect the screen’s images and distract from looking at the screen from certain positions. So he spent some time on the…
