The game “Crackdown”, an Xbox 360 exclusive that came out more than a year ago had in game advertising already. Cars, movies and such were advertised on in game billboards and other areas and kept up to date with patches to reflect new movies etc. This is nothing new, although it is being reported because it is being done by…

Um, Micro-who? Xbox is old news, it stole a lead on PS3 simply because M$ cut and run from the original xbox (leaving consumers, developers, publishers and retailers high and dry in the process) and launched earlier. PS2 sold over 120m units and PS3 is already growing faster, has already overtaken xbox 360 in Europe (x360 is about to be…

Sony can say whatever they want to try to get me to believe that putting real time advertising in my games will give me a more realistic experience, I won’t bend. Ads in video games is just as ludicrous as ads in the movie theater. Video games are the last place I want ads shoved down my throat. Enough is…

Hey Jeff: I think it is meant to carry all of your stuff… but you’ll need to plug it in for power. Sorry if that was confusing. Still kind of cool though, instead of having to fish out everything and hook it up individually.

Rachel, I read the info on their website and i do not believe this device is intended to be portable. From their own literature it appears to be one of those “charger cord clutter” reducing devices but I see nothing that implies that you would want to carry it around like a purse. Too bad as that is what caught…

As a gamer I can’t believe they are claiming that games aren’t all that they can be because of lack of money that advertisements can bring. I blame that on the bean counters pushing the developers to meet deadlines. They don’t “need” the added income, but I’m sure they don’t mind getting it. I’m against advertisements in game. They better…

it is getting to the point, or at least where I sell, we have the largest best buy in terms of sales volume in the country, that the LCD market is flooded with cheap tv’s. Plasma is an opportunity to tell the customer to just look at the picture and see what is better in a home environment, and they…

Stupid article. Do a story on the average customer...."whats the difference between plasma and HD?”......Most good (commission) sales people will do thier jobs, which is find out the customer needs, and sell them a tv that makes you money. Everyone has a job they go to, everyone needs to make money, if a LCD pays more then a Plasma and…

LCD’s can look better in a bright big-box store, but in a home setting 9 times out of 10 plasma looks better. Burn-in is only a problem on the cheap plasmas. Question? why does LG offer a 1-yr. warranty on LCD, yet a 2-yr. on Plasma, answer, plasma is one of the most reliable technolgies out in the last 10…
