Now you can be a greedy gamer and show you care simultaneously.
Xbox Family Games Pack
September 25, 2008 | by Rachel Cericola

Sure you could donate the money you’ve scrimped or squandered on games. There are plenty of worthy charities. You could also have the cash do double-duty. Microsoft has teamed up with Children’s Miracle Network to put your gaming money to good use.

Purchase the Xbox 360 Family Games pack and 100 percent of Microsoft’s net proceeds will go to support local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Aside from doing a good deed, you’ll also get some fun games, including Activision’s “Shrek The Third,” Sega’s “Sonic the Hedgehog,” and Microsoft’s own “Viva Piñata Party Animals.”

The Microsoft game is compatible with the Xbox LIVE network, so while you play, you can simultaneously brag about what a charitable guy/girl you are.

Children’s Miracle Network hospitals treat about 17 million children each year. The Xbox 360 Family Pack will be available starting October 7, 2008. The MSRP is $29.99.

I know this is for charity, but the people at Microsoft are messed up. The only good game in this bundle is Viva Pinata: Party Animals, everything else is garbage that got really low scores and are not selling on store shelves, specially Sonic; that game is not only glitchy, but the story sucks. This is really low even for Microsoft.
