Microsoft’s Xbox 360 Elite bundle
Looking to see what the fuss is all about regarding Halo 3? Looking for a way to maybe add an HD DVD player to your A/V setup? Looking to play a more modern gaming system than Super Nintendo (OK, maybe that one only applies to me)?
Soon you’ll be able to grab Microsoft’s Xbox 360 and Xbox 360 Elite systems in “holiday bundles” that will get you a couple of games to start your collection with, and save about $90 on.
Microsoft says available by the end of this month the bundles will include Forza Motorsport 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance games in the two bundles, which will cost $349 and $449 for the Xbox 360 and 360 Elite, respectively.
Sounds like a good way to give the gift of gaming for the holidays.

Those are two decent games, too. Forza is probably the better of the two, but MUA doesn’t suck.
Just remember that you’ll need to splash out a bit more for the HD-DVD peripheral. What is it now? $100, $125? Something like that.
