If you’ve been waiting for a good deal on a projector, today is your lucky day.

CrunchGear says that WOOT is having a one-day fire sale on Planar’s PD7130 720p home theater projector. Supposedly, the unit was originally designed for business. Now it’s all about the business of putting a giant image in your home or backyard—for cheap.

The unit was originally priced at $3,999. Specs include a 4,500:1 contrast ratio, 900 lumens, and DLP’s DarkChip technology. True, it’s not 1080p, but it’s also only $599, so quit complaining. It’s also got plenty of hookups, so you can connect a laptop or a slew of other devices via HDMI and DVI (with HDCP), component, composite, S-Video, and more.

The deal is only for today, so there’s no time to sit on the fence. In case you’ve got a couple of bucks left over, you can make a nice package with Planar’s Xscreen, for an X-tra $399.
