The new mounting technology will be showcased on Wisdom’s new Sage speaker line.
The CES announcements are starting early this year. When the Consumer Electronics Show kicks off in January, there will be one company ahead of the curve—Wisdom Audio.
They’ve not only allowed us to leak news, but they’ve also got a new in-wall speaker mounting solution to announce. Each driver assembly will have its own dedicated backbox, confining each unit’s acoustical output to its own cabinet. That means the walls won’t be getting in the way of your sound experience.
Wisdom plans to show off its new patent-pending technology with its recently launched Sage speaker series.
Five speaker configurations will be available, ranging from 15 to 75 inches, in both in-wall, on-wall (pictured) and freestanding models. The company also says to expect multiple center channels, a dual woofer vibration canceling in-wall sub enclosure, integrated Audyssey Laboratories room correction software, and dedicated electronics.

The woven acoustic screen is now available in a retractable, masking version.
Centralized home control and automation plus boatload of A/V options including dropdown theater screen revitalize 12K-square-foot home.
