Don’t want wires hanging around? http://www.wireworldcable.com/” title=“Wireworld”>Wireworld is introducing its value-priced Island HDMI cable next week at the 2007 Consumer Electronics Show. Island is the thinnest and most flexible HDMI cable currently available, and will sell in lengths of one to five meters at very affordable prices.
The Island HDMI cable is less than 1/8th-inch (3mm) thick and 1⁄2-inch (13mm) wide, and has a specified bend radius of just 1⁄2-inch, allowing for a range of installation options. The terminations employ unusually compact connectors, making the cables even easier to use in tight spaces.
Island is fully 1080p compliant in all available lengths, making them a great solution for the current crop of high-definition displays and sources, including HD-DVD and Blu-ray 1080p disc players.
