If you ever thought about getting into home automation technology, but decided to hold off for whatever reason, now’s your chance.

Even if you’ve got some wild ideas about what you want to automate in your home, no worries. Control4 has teamed with Electronic House to present the “What Do You Want to Control?” sweepstakes with a home control prize package for the winning entry.

You have to do some of the work/planning though. You have to tell us about your home control project in 150 words or less as part of your entry when you register here.

However, the reward is well worth it if you’re selected. The Control4 prize package is valued at $5,000-plus and includes a custom solution to control your lights, thermostats and audio/video, along with the controllers and interfaces to make operation simple throughout your house.
