Nintendo is touting the horn of its new title, “Wii Music.” They named (and announced) that tune months ago; now it has a release date.

“Wii Music” is scheduled for an October 20 release. The new title takes the concept of “Rock Band” and adds more cowbell—and a huge crop of other instruments. Using the Wii Remote, players can make like a maestro and rock out on more than 60 instruments.

Those instruments include electric guitar, trumpet, sax, steel drums, sitar, and pretty much everything else you could think of. More than 50 songs will be available in the game, or you can create your own as well. Once you compose a killer song, you can send it to fellow “Wii Music” players via the Wii Message Board.

No special controllers are needed (but we’re guessing someone will make them soon enough). “Wii Music” is currently available for pre-order on Amazon, for $50.
