Are you hankering for TV from foreign lands? WhereverTV could be your cheap ticket to endless entertainment.

This little black box promises to deliver hundreds of international channels on any TV. It doesn’t need high-def or monthly charges. Just pay the one-time $200 fee for the box, and you can be spending your Saturdays watching rugby, soccer, and other overseas delights.

The company says that the live channels will come in “40 languages from almost 100 countries.” Just hook the WhereverTV Receiver to your router and TV, plug in the power cord, and flip through your video source channels until you see the WhereverTV logo.

Obviously, the channels need to be available on the web. This box is just allowing you to enjoy the sloth of your couch.

“The WhereverTV Receiver clearly defines a new era for the television viewer,” said Mark Cavicchia, WhereverTV Founder and CEO. “We believe WhereverTV will become a great source of entertainment and comfort for millions of immigrants living away from home, businesspeople traveling abroad, or anybody wishing to enjoy a wide variety of television programming from around the world.”

As someone that does spend Saturday mornings watching soccer and rugby, it sounds like an interesting concept. It would probably be a lot more enticing if the manufacturer listed the available channels on its website. If you’re willing to gamble, the WhereverTV Receiver is available for order now. The product will start shipping on Tuesday, July 15.
