TX models from 42 to 52 inches designed for areas in need of a big screen, with a built-in HD tuner.
When shopping for a TV, people might not think about Westinghouse—but they should. The name that seems to be synonymous with electricity and AC actually offers a pretty killer deal when it comes to big screens for a small budget.
Now they are announcing three new affordable models as part of the TX series. Choose from the 42-inch TX-42F430S, the 47-inch TX-47F430S and the 52-inch TX-52F480S.
Each one has a built-in HD tuner, which means you won’t need a cable or satellite box to flip through those crystal clear channels. There’s also nifty Preset Video Modes, which allow users to select from a menu of customized viewing styles for movies, games and sports. Other features include 1080p resolution, an integrated ATSC/NTSC/ClearQAM tuner, and plenty o’ inputs, including four for HDMI.
All three models are shipping now for $1,599 to $2,999. However, expect to fork over a few extra bucks to an installer; these are only available through the custom install market.
