This Teleport won’t beam you up (no matter how hard you try), but it can flip to your favorite channel, turn on lights, and do a slew of other electronic tasks.

Wayne-Dalton’s Teleport remote combines Z-Wave and infrared technology. That combo can easily handle all of your A/V equipment, as well as any Z-Wave-enabled home control devices you’ve got kicking around.

“Teleport augments our home controls line by providing access to some of the most important components in a home—the home theatre A/V equipment,” said Jeff Franklin, Wayne-Dalton’s executive VP. “Teleport offers homeowners efficient control of all their home electronics from one easy-to-use remote.”

Use the remote to create and trigger up to 20 preset Z-Wave scenes, or control up to 232 modules you may have on your network. This includes CD/DVD players, appliances, TVs, set-top boxes, and other home electronics.

Whether used as your main remote or an add-on, the pricing is pretty competitive at $94.95.
