We love it when our electronics pull double-duty. However, Warpia’s new ConnectHD (SWP400VC) is seriously one multitasking machine. The ConnectHD promises a wealth of HDTV goodies, including HDTV video calling, HD streaming, and gaming—all from one compact, inexpensive package.
ConnectHD features a wide-angle wireless 720p HD video camera and multidirectional microphone, for all of those big-screen video calling needs. Gather the family on the couch and you can call grandma or other friends and family using services such as Skype or MSN Messenger.
Once you’re finishing connecting with loved ones, you can challenge the ones around you to a grudge match. ConnectHD also has the option of playing PC webcam games.
Last, but certainly not least, the same setup can also stream photos, music and video from any laptop to any HDTV—as long that set has an HDMI port, anyway. Warpia says that this setup can deliver video up to 1080p. It can also stream services, such as Facebook and Twitter, as well as email and general web surfing.
ConnectHD includes a wireless USB PC adapter, a wireless USB TV adapter with HDMI and camera, an external microphone, an HDMI cable and a software CD. Warpia is selling the kit now, with an MSRP of $199.99.

What are the TV capabilities?? Do you only get internet TV content, or can you get live channels?? And what about outside the home?? Can you hook it up to your phone or tablet to take with you, or are you still home-bound?? Looks like a great product, but I hear a bunch of numbers and specs, not real uses. Any more info available??
