Looks like Warner has decided to back the Blu-ray horse.
To stir up further debate, the movie studio has decided that it will exclusively release its high-def titles in the Blu-ray format. Warner has currently been releasing titles in both formats; they also have the largest video library amongst any of the movie studios.
Warner cited “consumer demand” when making their final decision. This will leave HD DVD users only to watch titles by Universal and Paramount, says The Wall Street Journal.
Warner will continue to release titles in HD DVD until the end of May.
