Some of you have spent a lot of time (and money) on a home theater setup. So it’s understandable when some say they’ll accept nothing less than 1080p. Warner Bros. doesn’t want to be left out of your mix, so they are starting to make 1080p titles available on iTunes.
According to iPodNN, the studio has put 1080p versions of popular titles, such as Batman Begins, Clash of the Titans, and The Dark Knight, on iTunes. Not everything in the studio’s catalog is available in 1080p, but they are working on adding additional content.
The average price for one of these 1080p movies ranges from $14.99 to $19.99, depending on the title. Two versions of the Lord of the Rings box set are also available, starting at $44.97.
If you’re looking to stream some of those goodies to a larger screen, Apple recently announced 1080p support for the third-gen Apple TV. The box is available now, for just $99.
