Both Walmart and Amazon have Super Bowl specials going on all week.
If you’re not planning to watch the Super Bowl in HD this Sunday, well… we have a few options for you. You can cry, you can park yourself in the middle of a store display, or you can take advantage of Walmart’s Super Bowl TV sale.
Granted, $100 off isn’t really worthy of a victory dance, but it could be enough to justify a first (or second) purchase that you’ve been putting off for way too long. Twice says that lower-priced models are the target, anyway. Expect for see a 32-inch Samsung for $498 and a 46-inch Sony for $1,298—which includes an additional $100 Walmart gift card.
This year, the Super Bowl is also synonymous with Springsteen (he’s part of the half-time spectacular). Therefore, Walmart will also offer the Boss’ “Greatest Hits” CD for $10.
Amazon is also running its own little promo. However, you’ll need to purchase a Samsung TV for over $1,000 to snag a $200 gift card for the NFL gear at the NFLShop.

Amazon is like Walmart of the Internet. Someday they may have a serious clash with each other busienss-wise. Of course that is already happening today, but not quite an all-out-war. Someday, perhaps.
