Wal-Mart has plenty of deals planned for Black Friday 2008.
Add another crop of deals to your to-do list. Walmart will be undercutting its fellow retailers on the hottest shopping day of the season. The retailer just announced some of its planned Black Friday prices. However, it looks like you’d better get there pretty early to get the best deals, as many are doorbuster items. Here are a few of our favorites…

I understand what you’re saying Paul, but I’ve been on a few Black Friday “hunts” and if you keep everything in perspective (I.E. It’s just stuff and not that important) this type of deal chasing early in the morning can be kinda fun. :-)
These ploys to play on people’s greed and envy never cease to amaze me. This is Thanksgiving and Christmas. Instead of spending money spend time with families and loved ones. It will give them memories which will be worth much more and last much longer than any “doorbuster”.

I looked into Wal-mart’s online only Value Bundles and discovered that the advertised price was merely the base price for that particular bundle - you must add the cost of any movies, games and/or aacessories the bundle promotes.
In fact I could not proceed to check out unless I added all the movies, games and/or accessories the bundle promoted.
Sneaky advertising I think and I will pass on Wally World’s ‘specials’.
