Your home might be nowhere near the ocean, but if you want to have your wall showcasing tropical destinations, you could enlist the help of Vutec’s ArtScreen.

Tropical watercolor artist Jim Gerard Holehouse of Tropic Art Design has signed on with Vutec to have his works included in the company’s lineup of art used to turn a flat-panel TV into a piece of artwork for your wall when it’s not turned on.

Vutec will start by offering 35 horizontal digital images of Holehouse’s on its website for customers to peruse. If there’s an image you want that is not showcased, Vutec will work with the artist to deliver it as a horizontal image.

Holehouse and brothers John and Tom founded Tropic Art Design in Orlando, FL, in 1976, and it has become prominent in the central Florida art community, detailing his visions of sunny palm-covered beaches that were a far way off from his Ohio roots.

They were more a result of the boating trips he chartered to the Caribbean and South America after relocating to Florida and attending sailing school. Not a bad inspiration for becoming an artist, we’d say.
