If you decide to go 3D this year, you have a choice to make. Forget about which manufacturer. First, you need to decide between active and passive technology. Whichever you decide, Vutec Corporation will have you covered when it comes to a compatible screen.
The company just announced two different 2D/3D screens. The patented SilverStar 2D/3D-A is perfect for active applications, while the SilverStar 2D/3D-P does passive.
Both screens work with 2D and 3D material, boasting bright colors, high contrast, and wide viewing angles. That’s a huge boost when viewing 3D, which has a bad rep when it comes to brightness and off-axis viewing.
Because of the boost, Vutec says the SilverStar 2D/3D-A and 2D/3D-P allow home theater enthusiasts to reduce projector brightness levels, and be more energy efficient.
“We have placed an emphasis on research and development to help improve the advancement of 3D screen technology currently offered,” says Howard Sinkoff, Vutec’s CEO.
The SilverStar 3D is being offered in both custom and standard sizes, and multi-plexed for large applications. Available in Vision X and Vutec brands, the screen is also available in flat or curved versions. Contact Vutec for additional info and pricing.
