Vonage Debuts V-Access
New service allows you to stay in touch for cheap when calling to any subscriber number.
January 23, 2007 by Rachel Cericola

You no longer have to worry about who’s in your 5, your network or whether grandma is part of the family plan. Vonage just announced V-Access, a new service that allows anyone to call Vonage phone numbers for the price of a local call.

Basically, the service provides an access number, which allows people outside of Vonage to call you without paying long-distance charges—including international fees.

Just dial the local access number, enter the Vonage number and start yakking away.

Access numbers for your area are listed on the Vonage web site.

  • Free to non-subscribers
  • Available in the U.S., UK, Canada, France, Italy, Mexico & Spain
