We’ve always been keen on Vizio for its value-performance HDTVs. It’s good to know they have our man cave viewing preferences on their priority list too—football.
Yup, it appears that the company’s relationship with San Diego Chargers star running back LaDainian Tomlinson has spawned even more pigskin involvement by Vizio.
The company has hooked up with Fox Sports Net to deliver “Vizio Profiles”—or “Pro Files”—a 30-minute weekly show that will give an inside peek into today’s rising and veteran NFL stars, including Tomlinson.
The show kicks off tomorrow night, Oct. 2, at 11 p.m. with a profile of Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (coincidentally my starting fantasy football QB), with a re-air next Tuesday at 6 and 11 p.m., Thursday at 9:30 p.m. and Friday at 3:30 p.m. in what will be usual re-air time slots.
In the following weeks the stars will include Vikings running back Adrian Peterson, Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald and Bears injured linebacker Brian Urlacher, among others.
We’re not sure if the shows will highlight their Vizio-infused media rooms or theaters, but it will try to offer a more candid side to these football stars. At the very least it continues Vizio’s commitment to the great game of football.

Should TV manufacturers offer dumbed-down TVs that focus on image quality rather than apps?

Say hello to home control in this high-tech palace, circa 2006.
i would like to recommend a player that does so much and rely gets any credit for the things that he does on and off the football field. He is a teammate of Adrian Peterson a fromer guess on your show. His name is Anthony Herrera a well rounded guy that’s family oriented. P.S. Please respond back.
