A PowerCost Monitor uses a senor attached to home’s electrical meter to read the home’s total electricity usage and report the data wirelessly to a small display monitor. The systems start at about $110. Blue Line Innovations says that just making small energy conservation changes can mean up to 18 percent in energy savings.
