There are so many digital media options out there, it’s hard to keep up. More importantly, it’s hard to keep everything stored. If you’re in need of a little extra space for those digital goodies, VidaBox has a new product known as the LiivNAS.

The LiivNAS has its own Blu-ray/DVD/CD drive, as well as 500GB of internal storage. It’s also easy to add on more, since this component supports just about any external USB or NAS drive.

However, the real hook on this product is that it also has support for Dune HD media players.

“LiivNAS: Dune Edition is highly unique as the only archiving and storage solution with official external/NAS storage device support, plus integration with popular control systems,” states Steven Cheung, president of VidaBox, LLC. “We listened to the feedback of consumers, dealers, and integrators who universally requested an out of the box experience that works directly with the award winning Dune HD line of media players. With LiivNAS: Dune Edition, DVD and Blu-ray media management is now accessible to anyone seeking an alternative to mechanical multi-disc DVD and Blu-ray changers.”

Available in a 2U rack-mount chassis, the LiivNAS: Dune Edition also comes with a choice of third-party drivers for two-way movie metadata integration with Control4, Crestron, or RTI.

The LiivNAS Dune Edition is available now for $1,699.95, exclusively through the Dune Player website. TheDune Media Player is also available in three flavors, with pricing ranging from $199.95 to $399.95.
