Those wanting to add computer magic to their existing high-def TV don’t need to drag out a huge hard drive. VidaBox has packed all of that PC goodness into the small, but mighty, PicoPC.

This 13-ounce device measures a mere 1.25-inches tall, has no moving parts, and is so easy to hide that you might not even be able to find it.

An added bonus: The tiny box also features write-protection, which means it’s protected from viruses, malware—and even you. If you find yourself being a bit too ambitious, all you need to do is restart the unit and it reverts back to its original condition.

“The PicoPC is the ideal solution for anyone who wants simple, fool-proof access to PC capabilities on their HDTV,” says Steven Cheung, president of VidaBox. “Because it’s so small and light, you can easily hide it behind any HDTV with some Velcro. Because it has no fans or hard drives, mechanical failure is a thing of the past. Combined with its virus and malware-proof write-protection, the PicoPC’s features a very attractive solution.”

Featuring a VGA video out, inputs and outputs for audio, an RS-232 port and dual USB ports, the unit also comes with a wireless keyboard for your perusing pleasure.  It ships with a 2GB CF card, with options to expand up to 16GB. The unit is also available with 802.11b/g options, if you don’t have the hardwired connection nearby.

The PicoPC is available now for $929.
