Homeowners (like this one) are discovering how the iPad can make home control easy and affordable. However, it doesn’t make it easy to mount. VidaBox wants to do that, with its newly announced iPad2-compatible frames and wall mounts.

Now available, VidaBox has lowered the retail price on these frames—down to $99.99. That’s about 40 percent lower than the company’s mounts for the original iPad.

Of course, the frames are designed for use with the company’s VidaBox iPower & iPCX kit, for a complete mounting and charging solution.

“We’re excited to offer our high quality iPad2 frames at a very affordable price,” exclaims Steven Cheung, president of VidaBox LLC. “With the proliferation of iPad apps for popular integrated control systems, there’s a growing need to wall mount an iPad securely, keep it charged, and do so inexpensively. Our VidaBox iPad frames easily meet all of these requirements.”

Available in seven different colors and finishes, VidaBox’s frames for the iPad 2 retail for $99. Made in the USA, each frame comes pre-assembled and can be mounted in portrait or landscape modes.

VidaBox also plans to have this product on hand at this September’s CEDIA Expo.
