The iPad is becoming a nice control option for homeowners on a budget (or not). Now, it seems that manufacturers are taking advantage of that fact.
VidaBox LLC has just announced its own add-on, a series of on-wall iPad mounting solutions. Just assemble the mount around the iPad, connect a series of cables, and you can soon have multiple iPads joined throughout the house. Even better, there’s an optional iPower charging station, which can power up to four iPad-compatible power feeds over Cat5 cable.
“The iPad is a revolutionary device, and more and more consumers are looking to unleash its true potential by incorporating it into their home systems to control their environments,” said Steven Cheung, president of VidaBox LLC. “For end users, our on-wall mounts provide this level of sophistication by making the iPad a natural, seamless extension of any room. For integrators, they are easy to assemble and install, and the optional iPower station makes reliably powering them a breeze. And all of this is offered at an amazing value that won’t break the bank.”
VidaBox’s mounts feature 19-mm aluminum frames, which are available in seven different colors and finishes. Those options include Black Metalline, Brushed German Silver, Florentine Black, Florentine Grey, Florentine Silver, Florentine Walnut, and Matte Black. If you want something a little special to match or standout in your home’s decor, the mount can also be painted.
Available now, VidaBox’s iPad mounts have an MSRP of $149. If you want to add in the optional iPower charging station, that’s another $399.
