Sometimes you need to broaden your horizons. Vantage/Legrand wants to provide a bit of one-stop shopping, adding distributed audio to its product offering with the Vantage Axium 450AV multiroom amplifier.
The Axium 450AV was designed by system integrators with the system integrators in mind, meaning the installation is a breeze. While you might not care about your installer’s feelings (they have them, you know!), an easier installation could translate into savings for you—and I think that’s something we all care deeply about.
The multi-zone audio/video amplifier combined with keypad controllers, and/or the Vantage InFusion automation system enables you to individually control the power, volume and source selection in up to four rooms, with four sub-zone preamplifier outputs available.
Vantage Controls’ Axium 450AV Series multizone amplifiers may be interconnected via the expansion bus, providing up to 32 zones of control which boasts a simple cable installation.
The Vantage Controls Axium 450AV Series has four separate amplifiers and preamplifiers, providing 4 zones of independent yet integrated control. There are seven stereo sources (S1 – S7) and an eighth mono source (S8) typically used for paging applications. Each unit incorporates an eight source by four-zone composite video matrix so screens in four different rooms may display any of the eight sources (S1 - S8). Buffered video outputs allow expansion of these sources to 32 zones.
