The Reactor Gaming Chair includes eight vibrating motors and 3-D sound.
When great gaming minds come together, they come up with the Reactor.
Ultimate Game Chair has teamed up with Capcom for the Reactor Video Game Chair. It’s nice to have the minds behind “Resident Evil” think about your comfort for a change. After all, with hours of gaming to get done, you’re going to need a decent place to sit.
It may not look that fancy, but this is where you want to be doing your 3:00 a.m. gaming. It’s got eight vibrating motors and 3-D stereo sound. In case you even thought about getting up, it’s also got a massage mode to glue you to the seat for eternity.
“It is a rare and exceptional occasion when we find a product like the Reactor Game Chair that can boost game play with full-impact body blows or subtle movements to enhance our triple-A titles,” said Germaine Gioia, senior VP of licensing for Capcom Entertainment.
Capcom plans to market the chair with in-game bundles and other promotions. The MSRP is $180, plus shipping. A stand-alone, non-branded version will also be available for $200.
For now, you’ll have to rough it in your old easy chair. The Capcom Reactor won’t be available until Capcom launches new games later this year.
