Back in my youth, kids seemed crazy for Camaros—and not just the ones that were Dead Milkmen fans. (Anyone?) Well, one company wants to revive the craze, but I can’t imagine that this thing would be street legal.
A company named TVLiftCabinet has transformed what was probably a bitchin’ Camaro at one point into a little something for someone’s home theater. Who would buy such a thing? Well, someone who doesn’t mind his or her living room looking like a crime scene. Or maybe even a Vin Diesel movie.
The company pimped the 1969 Camaro RS/SS to include the Uplift 3700 Commercial Grade TV lift mechanism in the hood. That device can house a 55-inch TV up to 130 pounds. The car’s grille can also conceal electronic goodies or even a soundbar—because, you know… you wouldn’t want to junk up your living room or anything.
TVLiftCabinet says that the 1969 Camaro RS/SS TV lift console will be available in May, but it won’t be mass-produced or anything. If you want to be the sole owner, expect to pay $9,999. [via Gizmodo]
