When audiophiles say a product is bad, it can get downright vicious. In the case of TruAudio‘s new speaker series, bad never sounded so good.

Bad Boy is TruAudio’s new speaker series designed for discriminating tastes in sight and sound. A custom MDF enclosure is put into the wall at the pre-wire stage, making the extra space exactly the same in every installation.

Other features include 6.5-inch Tru-Life woven carbon fiber midrange and woofer drivers, 4-layered voice coils for each driver, a 1-inch Tru-Life silk dome tweeter, and cloth grills in either black or white.

Hey—they’re perfectionists, and so are we when it comes to in-walls. After all, it’s not just something you can pop out and replace, you know?

Prices for the Bad Boy series range from $800 a pair to $1,500 each.
