That AV setup may not technically be on, but it’s slowly, quietly sucking up electricity. While it may not be causing the lights to flicker or anything, that type of usage can add up. Tripp Lite wants to help you cut down on the waste, with its new TLP76MSG ECO-SURGE Suppressor.
This new product features a total of six outlets. However, each one has its own ON/OFF switch. A seventh outlet provides constant power, for something like a router. The other six are perfect for devices that don’t need to be on all the time, allowing users to completely cut the power when not in use.
Don’t worry about having to flick six extra switches every night, either. The TLP76MSG ECO-SURGE Suppressor also has a convenient master switch.
Besides the above, this surge suppressor also offers EMI/RFI noise filtering and 1080 joules of surge protection.
“This new ECO-SURGE Suppressor gives users another great option for protecting their electronics,” said Karenann Brow, Tripp Lite’s senior product manager. “With its individual outlet control and surge suppression features, users can save energy while protecting their computing or home theater applications.”
Tripp Lite is listing the TLP76MSG with an MSRP of $26.
