Tribuatries’ T100 power manager
Your rockin’ AV system deserves to be handled with care, and that includes the power products that keep it performing up to speed—and also keep it protected in case of electrical spikes.
Tributaries has you covered with a couple of new power management units, the T100 and T200, which deliver a cumulative power availability of up to 1800 watts and feature a new Metal Oxide Varistor (MOV) surge suppression technology that the company says provides faster response time and increased absorption (up to 60% more current during a spike) over traditional MOVs. The T100 and T200 will be displayed at Tributaries booth (819) at EHX Spring 2009 in Orlando, Fla.
Ceramic casing adds to the protection, aids in the heat dissipation, and keeps accumulated temperature from feeling like noon on a Vegas summer day.
Cool blue front-panel LEDs show the on/off condition of each outlet, and a digital voltmeter shows the AC line voltage (the T200 adds a digital ammeter too). Both products will automatically detect a polarity fault in the AC wiring and let you know via a front-panel LED.
