Now you see it, now you don’t. While we love to marvel at how HDTVs have changed over the years, there are some days and situations where the homeowner needs a break. For those times, Touchstone Home Products has its line of Elevate TV Lift Cabinets.
However, the big hook on the new lift line isn’t just that it makes the TV disappear at the touch of a button. You could probably get a magician to do that. Instead, it’s how inexpensive this particular model is. The Elevate has an MSRP of just $899.
This new price point is coming off 2010’s Elevate TV Lift Cabinets, which the company says were the first of this type to have a sub-$1,000 price tag.
Designed to store both plasma and LCD flat screens, the Elevate is finished on all sides, making it easy to place in any room. Boasting faster technology and a lighter mechanism, the new product gets a few new color options. If you’re looking for something truly special, the product can also be made to order in a variety of custom stains.
“With the advent of quality 42-inch flat-screen TVs in the sub $500 range, the Elevate is available at just the right time,” said Frank Quinlisk, Touchstone’s VP. “We’ve developed the Elevate to deliver the versatility of our classic, larger cabinets at a more affordable price.”
Elevate is available now, and comes fully assembled with its own wireless remote.
