The HD-A2 has recently been seen at retail for $200 to $250.
As if your local Wal-Mart wasn’t scary enough; tomorrow the mega-retailer is offering Toshiba’s HD-A2 HD DVD player for a cool $98.97.
As part of the one-day promotion, Wal-Mart will also have three HD DVD movies for $14.95, says Twice. No word on what those titles might be.
Twice also says that there will be a 50-inch Sanyo plasma for $998 and a 1GB Acer laptop for $348. Bring the big car!
Get them while they last—the HD-A2 is being phased out for the extra features of the HD-A3.
