It’s not that Lost was a polarizing show, but it was one of those that you either watched and were completely sucked into, or you didn’t watch ever. Or, if you’re like me, you heard so many good things about it that you began viewing the DVDs about halfway through Season 5, so you were able to quickly catch up in time to enjoy the final season when it actually aired.

If you want to relive all of the great episodes, or give it a try from the beginning, you can do either in grand fashion this week with two big high-def releases. One is the Complete Sixth Season, just as mind-bending as all the rest, perhaps even more so with its “alt universe” that kept viewers guessing about reality. The other option is the Complete Collection, which contains the entire series. Both should come with their share of extra goodies, so even if you have already watched the series you may be able to get more insight into the crazy Lost world.

In the animated TV land, we’ve got The Simpsons: The Thirteenth Season (2001-02) this week. Ralph Wiggum fans will be happy to see him earn cover honors for this season, which features 22 episodes, and five holdovers from season 12 production. It starts with a Treehouse of Horror for your ghoulish enjoyment.

On the movie front this week, get your cockney accent up to speed and check out a couple of Bob Hoskins flicks from the 80s—Mona Lisa and The Long Good Friday, which explore some underworld crime activity in slickly told stories. No sign of Who Framed Roger Rabbit this week, though.
