If you’re worried about entertaining at your next summer barbecue, get out the limbo stick, pour some drinks in a coconut, plant these Tiki speakers and watch the wackiness ensue.
TikiToonz’s Luau Luey speakers aren’t designed to hide into your yard’s foliage. Instead, they stand out like a pig roast. Technabob says that the set can crank up to 80 watts per channel and is built to play more than just your Don Ho collection. Other features include a 6.5-inch woofer, a 1-inch tweeter, and a frequency response of 50Hz to 20kHz (+/-3dB). The cabinets are also built to withstand the outside elements; after all, even Hawaii has its monsoons.
For a limited time, the company is offering $50 off the $200 MSRP. That includes 20 feet of speaker wire for each of the two units and wire connectors—but no grass skirt.
