If you’re tired of the Tiger Woods news, gossip, apologies, and TMZ-ness, you’re going to want to skip The Masters.

Tiger is making his return to the PGA Tour on April 5-11 at the hallowed grounds of Augusta National.

If you do watch The Masters, for the great golf, horrible commentating, and beautiful flora, you’ll have more Tiger coming at you than expected.

Sony, Comcast, and The Masters will be teaming up for two hours 3D coverage per afternoon, focusing on the back nine holes. The event will be presented free of charge to Comcast subscribers with capable equipment. The 3D feed will also be available at http://www.themasters.com for those with 3D-capable computers. 

3D coverage rests outside of the 2D distribution rights held by CBS, which announced an in-theater 3D presentation of the NCAA Men’s Final Four, and ESPN, which is launching a 3D network in June called ESPN 3D.
