Star Trek fans rejoice, it’s a banner week for catching up with your favorite sci-fi series on pristine Blu-ray. It goes for the original series, it goes for some of the movies, it goes for some of the Next Generation movies.

Oddly, or evenly I should say, according to Blu-ray.com, it’s the even numbers in the movie series that are hitting the shelves beginning today: Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country and Star Trek VIII: First Contact. We’re talking native superwide 2.40:1 aspect ratios and Dolby TrueHD 7.1 soundtracks here, Trekkies.

Then there’s a feast for Picard fans, with a four-movie package of Next Generation films: Star Trek: The Next Generation Movie Collection (Generations/First Contact/Insurrection/Nemesis). If that’s not enough, and we know it’s not, you can relive the original television series with the Complete Season 2 fully restored for the format.

While Trek is clearly the cream of this week’s crop, we also need to talk about Pop. As in the Complete Monterey Pop Festival. Sure, it’s no Woodstock, but you can find Jimi Hendrix here as well and much more—and lending its production cred to the release is that it comes from the lauded Criterion Collection.

If you’re looking for a couple of hidden gems, try a double feature of British actor Simon Pegg, who takes a turn as zombie-killer in Shaun of the Dead and cop in Hot Fuzz.

Here’s the complete release schedule, courtesy of Blu-ray.com:
