One of the biggest weeks of the year for home technology enthusiasts begins Wednesday, January 5th in Las Vegas (the other big week for us is CEDIA in September).
The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) stretches across acres of sin city real estate and encompasses the entire convention center, as well as several hotel convention areas, ballrooms, suites, parking lots and restrooms (maybe not restrooms). The will be 2,500-plus exhibitors and more than 100,000 attendees. Yes, it’s massive.
Electronic House will be there, tracking down the newest products and trends from CES and explaining what all the buzz will mean to you. The main reporting will begin Wednesday, the traditional Press Day, in which several of the bigger manufacturers hold standing-room-only press conferences. After that, we head to the show floor to check out the new gear and talk with industry experts about what 2011 will mean for home electronics. Look in our news feed section as well as theCES 2011 Hot Topic for frequent updates.
Here are a few of the trends we’ll be looking out for at CES 2011.
