N.J.-Based Talk of the Town to Hold Demo Day
Allendale N.J.-based dealer to showcase the latest electronics from companies like Meridian, B&W, SIM2 and Classe on Saturday, Dec. 5.

With the holiday season nearly here, it’s time for many to formulate their annual shopping lists. 

Allendale, N.J.-based Talk of the Town will be helping out those consumers interested in electronics to fill out their shopping lists with its “Audio, Video & Home Theater Demo Day” on Saturday, December 5.

The daylong event runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the company will be providing free refreshments, prizes and other giveaways that total up to more than $5,000.

Throughout the day Talk of the Town will be demonstrating the latest new products and services within the two-channel, home theater and home automations system categories with components from top manufacturers that include Meridian, B&W, SIM2 and Classe.

In addition, products from other companies such as Richard Gray’s Power Company, Marantz, Denon, Anthem, Totem, Crestron and Universal Remote Control (URC) will also be on display. 

Highlighting the day’s activities will be a demonstration of SIM2’s C3X Lumis host projector, Marantz’s 9004 Reference Blu-ray player, Totem Acoustics’ Wind Design Tower speakers, Classe’s SSP-800 preamp/processor with Dolby True HD and DTS MA processing, and a Meridian system that consists of a set of DSP 5200 digital active speakers mated to a Sooloos Music Server System.

These are the AV Cash-For-Clunker guys.  I’ve been to their showroom and they have an awesome setup for seeing different hometheater configurations.  Worth a stop if you are in the area.
