Oasis Home Theatre Seating’s Sports HT (left) and Outdoor Signature (right) models from Irwin
Want to really get an authentic taste of the baseball playoffs while sitting at home and watching on your 110-inch screen? Oasis Home Theatre Seating has begun selling the Sports HT and Outdoor Signature models from Irwin Seating Company—and they look like they came right out of your neighborhood sports stadium.
The Sports HT model (pictured on left) looks a little more like one you’d see in an old-time baseball stadium, with seat and back from one-piece, double-wall, blow-mold plastic and a choice of solid back or nostalgic slat design with cast-iron legs. Don’t worry—you can have the seats semi-upholstered so it’s not quite like you’re sitting out at Fenway in early April freezing your buns off.
The Sports HT comes in four colors, with an MSRP of $300 per chair.
Like the Sports HT, the Outdoor Signature model is a weatherproof seating option, so you can outfit your traditional indoor theater with them for a big-time sports feel, or have them in an outdoor setting and not worry about throwing a tarp on them during rain delays.
The Outdoor Signature seat looks a bit cushier with its 2-inch thick contoured back foam and ergonomic foam seat cushion. It has a 38-inch seat back for plenty of support, and you can get it upholstered in HT faux leather, with or without cupholder armrests. The Outdoor Signature model goes for an MSRP of $600 per chair.
If you can watch three-hour baseball and football games in these at the actual ballpark, why not give your mancave some stadium flair for sports and sub-three hour movie viewing at home?
