Support the Environment - Buy A/V
Panasonic is donating 5% of consumers’ online purchases to three environmental organizations.
Panasonic Giving Back
September 25, 2007 | by Arlen Schweiger

The next time you go shopping for electronics gear online, feel free to throw in that extra LCD for the kitchen or Blu-ray player. It could go toward a very good cause, and we don’t mean your personal A/V ecstasy.

Panasonic has launched a “Giving Back” initiative through which it will donate 5 percent of the cost of your order from its web site to one of three environmental organizations: the Nature Conservancy’s “Rescue the Reef,” National Recycling Coalition’s “America Recycles Day,” and World Resources Institute’s “Green Power Market Development Group.”

So no more excuses about not having the time or money to give to charity—Panasonic is doing the heavy lifting on this one.
