According to a recent survey by the National Retail Federation (NRF), shoppers plan to purchase 3.9 million TVs for Super Bowl Sunday, which will be held on Feb. 3. This is up more than 50 percent over last year, according to a new consumer survey by the NRF. The survey also suggests that young adults, ages 18 to 24, will be the best customers with nearly one in 10 (or 9.8 percent) planning to buy a new TV before the “Big Game.”
Furthermore, it predicts that 158 million people will watch the big game this year and spend $59.90 on average for Super Bowl-related goodies.
