Sunset Magazine recently closed up its show home in Palo Alto, California. However, that doesn’t mean that we still can’t take a peek at what’s going on inside.
The magazine highlights a variety of “idea homes.” However, this one in particular is more like a dream home—considering the amount of technology inside. According to CNET, the home’s crowning jewel is a Savant automation system, which is controlled through a wall-mounted iPad and several touchcreens that are sprinkled through the premises.
Those touchpanels provide whole-house control over climate, security, lighting, and much more. Although A/V is also included in this mix, the hub of that whole setup is another Apple favorite, the Apple TV.
Check out our slideshow for a peek at some of our favorite high-tech perks inside this home. For additional photos, click over to CNET’s coverage of the open house.

I would be curious to know why they installed the Apple Airport Extreme within the rack that way (unless it’s only being used as a wired router and/or Time Capsule.)
