Sunfire’s HRS Sat-4 satellite and center channels
If you’re a fan of the Sunfire brand of audio products and have been waiting for a speaker system to match the HRS subwoofer the company debuted last fall, the wait is over. Sunfire is releasing this week its high-performing compact satellite speakers to match the HRS subs, in the form of its HRS Sat-4 and HRS Sat-4C center.
Both speakers are designed to offer plenty of pop from a small profile, handling 200 watts per channel.
A 4.5-inch High Back-emf woofer delivers the low end frequencies, while a 1-inch ring-radiating silk-dome tweeter handles the highs, and combine to present dynamic sound. An extra 4.5-inch woofer flanks the tweeter in the HRS Sat-4C center channel.
A special cast-aluminum baffle clamped to the cabinet assures high rigidity and reduced vibrations, the company says, and the center channel cabinet even has a kickstand so you can tilt it just so for the perfect listening angle in your media setup.
Glass cabinets come in black or white, with a variety of mounting options. The satellites will go for an MSRP of $450 each, and $500 for the center channel, which will both be shipping in June.
